Shipping policy
Last updated: November 3, 2026. VAEN ships furniture to Canada and the United States.
Production and preparation
Furniture production begins after the 24-hour cancellation window following order confirmation. Production and packing are separate from carrier transit.

For console tables, other product types and bespoke projects, contact us to confirm production timing before ordering. These are preparation estimates, not arrival dates. Carrier transit is additional.
Shipping rates and free standard shipping
All shipping amounts and thresholds below are in Canadian dollars (CAD), per order. The qualifying order value is the merchandise subtotal after discounts and before tax. For mixed-size orders, the largest shipping size category in the order applies; charges are not added per item.

Canada: free standard shipping on orders of $599 CAD or more, anywhere in Canada. United States: free standard shipping on orders of $5,000 CAD or more.
Expedited shipping is optional, subject to availability, and remains chargeable when standard shipping is free. Its rate is 75% above the corresponding paid standard rate. The available service and transit estimate must be confirmed for your destination. Expedited shipping does not shorten manufacturing or packing time.
Transit, dispatch and tracking
Transit time starts when the carrier receives your packed order. It varies by destination and selected service; check the available estimate at checkout or contact info@vaen.ca before ordering. Expedited transit estimates are confirmed according to the available carrier service for your destination.
When your shipment is dispatched and tracking is available, we send a shipping confirmation to the email used at checkout. Freight shipments may have fewer tracking scans than parcel shipments. Visit Track Your Order for status guidance.
Delivery service and access
Please check the delivery service shown on your order confirmation. Assembly, room-of-choice placement and packaging removal must be expressly confirmed for your order. Ensure the furniture fits through doorways, elevators and access routes. Large deliveries may require a carrier appointment.
Finish samples
Finish samples arrive within 14 days of order confirmation. This is the total delivery timeframe, including preparation and transit. The furniture production schedule above does not apply to finish samples.
Delivery address and delays
Review your delivery address before ordering and contact us promptly if a change is needed. Changes after dispatch depend on carrier availability. Weather, customs, holidays and carrier capacity can affect transit estimates.
Inspect your delivery
Inspect the packaging and furniture on arrival. Note visible damage with the carrier where possible, retain the packaging, and email info@vaen.ca promptly with your order number and photographs of the packaging, labels and affected item. See our Refund Policy for damaged, defective or incorrect items.
Cross-border charges
Free shipping refers to the standard transportation charge. Any applicable duties, taxes or brokerage charges are separate unless expressly included in your order confirmation. Contact us before ordering if the treatment of these charges is unclear.
